BBC one were looking to create a digital activation that would put Strictly fans at the heart of the action, and help create excitement.

THE SOLUTION

Strictly-Style Selfies.

We created a fully responsive digital hub that allowed people to decorate their selfies with stickers; create face-in-hole pictures from popular moments from the week; and see themselves twirl around the dance floor as their favourite celeb or professional dancer. We created bespoke photo editing tools to ensure a seamless appearance. We worked with the BBC's Taster team to ensure despite their hosting restrictions we were able to deliver rapid video rendering.

THE RESULT

Strictly Smashed It!

There were over 200,000 users, and the activation was so successful we recreated it for the popular shows Sherlock, Doctor Who and East Enders to accompany their Christmas specials.
